About

I'm Charlie Hadfield, a biomedical engineer (MEng, First Class, Imperial College London 2019–2023) and Research Assistant at Imperial since 2023. Co-founder of Averon Scientific, the spinout commercialising DART, our high-speed bioinspired motion-capture platform.

I work across three territories: mechatronic / CAD design for automated systems, full-stack software development, and computer vision / machine learning. Most of my projects sit somewhere in the seam between two or three of them.

Outside of work I read science fiction, train at the gym, and spend most of my free time with friends, family, my partner, and our dog.
